Anritsu has developed an NIR (Near Infrared) tablet inspection device that inspects tablet ingredients at high speed. It is now possible to conduct inline inspection of all tablets after the tablet press, enabling not only ingredient analysis and detection of cross-contamination but also the detection of biologically derived foreign substances, which has been difficult until now.
